Cooper Construction Group, a proud Baton Rouge home builder, is locally owned and operated by Jason and Amanda Cooper, who bring over 28 years of experience in residential and commercial construction. Their expertise includes design, construction, and business management, making them a trusted custom home builder in the community.
Jason, a seasoned veteran in the building construction industry, began his journey at a young age, working alongside his father on residential homes and commercial properties. While studying Construction Management at LSU, Jason served in the Louisiana National Guard as an engineer, participating in missions both in Afghanistan and various stateside humanitarian aid projects. His extensive experience spans all areas of building construction and design across North America, all while maintaining strong ties to his hometown of Central, Louisiana. Jason is thrilled to return to serve his local community and surrounding areas once again to provide effective building solutions for his clients.
Amanda complements the team with her extensive background in Business Management, Finance, and Accounting. She attended Southeastern Louisiana University, where she studied Accounting and Business Administration. With most of her career spent as an Audit Manager at a local accounting firm and as a Senior Accountant for State Government, Amanda brings invaluable financial expertise to the role of Vice President of Finance and Accounting. Additionally, Amanda is a licensed Real Estate Agent in Louisiana.
